The Southside Pain
Clinic uses multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of pain. It is increasingly recognised that there is no single treatment which is effective in all cases of pain and that the best results are produced by the use of Multiple Convergent Therapies (all therapies which have been shown to be beneficial in teh effective treatment of pain).
About
Dr. Ryan trained for 10 years with Prof. Ronald Melzack inthe world renowned McGill Montreal General hospital Pain Clinic. He has a special interest in Sports Medicine and was a member of the medical team for the EU senior Boxing Championships in 2007. He is regularly in medical attendance at sports fixtures. He has published articles on the treatment of pain in various medial journals and performed original research on rhw nwueophyaiology of endorphones and cell mediated immunity.
he was a guest lecturer at McGill University, The Royal Victoria Hospital and St Mary's Hospital Montreal. He served as a consultant in the Canadian Medical Assoc. and was Medical Director of the Pierrefonds Family Practice Centre. He was President and Research Director of the Quebec Medical Acupuncture Association and a Director of the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada.
He is a Member of the International College of Acupuncture and the British Acupuncture Association. |
