As a multidisciplinary group of professionals with the mental focus of maximising their effectiveness as therapists, The Paul Goldin Clinic requires its members and associates to adhere to its code of ethics and professional standards.

  • To maintain the highest standards of competence and professional practice in my work.
  • To respect the rights of clients to privacy and confidentiality.
  • To provide only those services for which I am qualified by virtue of my education experience and knowledge.
  • To maintain my knowledge of, and to gain competence in the latest developments and research in my field of endeavour.
  • To be committed to the advancement of therapeutic practice in my field.
  • To always present credentials, education and membership status in a truthful and honest fashion.
  • To display credentials by way of certification and, or license prominently in the place of my work.
  • To promote the interests of the Institute in my own best interest and in the best interests of my colleagues.
  • To refrain from conduct that would be adverse to the interest of either clients, colleagues or the Institute.
  • To accept the good faith and professional integrity of my colleagues and members of related professions and the right and integrity of their work to proceed without interference.
  • To always conduct my work with my clients in a professional manner with a successful outcome in mind in the shortest and most effective way at my disposal.
  • To participate on an ongoing basis in skill enhancement programmes, to keep abreast with the latest, most advanced and most effective therapies in effect.
